Here Comes Some New Stuff
Yeah, so I moved to a place that doesn’t have high speed internet service, and I’m not paying what they are asking for crappy satellite service, so here I sit at my local all night eatery, taking advantage of the free wi-fi. Expect photos.
I’m Still Here
This is to remind everybody that I exist. I have been going through some pretty intense personal stuff over the past month, and haven’t been taking photos. I also haven’t had much access to my computer. Things are gradually calming down, and I want to get back out there. So thanks to all who haven’t jumped ship and abandoned my tumblr in my time of need. You are great followers, and expect some new content soon.

Virgin Lightning
My first ever successful lightning capture. I went out an hour before sunrise hoping to see the Aurora Borealis, but instead there were thunderstorms. I started shooting some longer exposures, but all the strikes happened between shots. As it kept getting brighter out my exposure time had to drop, so by the time I got this shot I was taking 1/2 second exposures, shooting as fast as the camera would allow. Still, the lightning kept happening while my camera was buffering. I had been there for almost two hours, it would soon be too bright out for a good lightning shot, so I gave myself 25 more presses of the trigger, and then I would leave. I got this on the 22nd.
Update
So tumblr helped me out and took my uncredited shot off that guy’s page. I just wish I knew who shot all the other ones he is trying to pass off as his own so I could tell them. Anybody recognize anything?
Discovery
I found the first uncredited reblog of a shot of mine today. Also, the guy is using my shot to sell his trick photography book. I sent him a pleasant request.
